Go2 is a mobile entertainment guide, spanning a huge range of different kinds of media. They needed a fresh look, and started from the ground up to create a snazzy new brand.
A challenge with the logo was to create a memorable and interestig mark to help distinguish them from their competition. There were many concepts being tossed around even up to the end. Many of the concepts played up the fun and playful look. In the end, we decided something a little more sophisticated was needed. The final design touches on the idea of leaving your mark, and went with a logo that resembled a water or coffee stain.
For the web, it was a challenging task to take their existing content, formatted for legacy mobile phones, and create a rich web experience. Go2 also was very open to suggestions for improvements and additional features. A lot of the features we proposed were ways to filter, sort, and highlight their existing content, reducing the amount of work migrating the past data to the new format.
